28 Sep 2009 - Sandbox members re-sign for Season 2 of THE SINGING BEE
The musicians in Sandbox have just signed on for season 2 of the hit TV show "THE SINGING BEE" on CMT. The break out hit TV show for CMT yielded exceptional results and the network has doubled the last order. The band will be shooting 20 episodes come November and the new season will debut in JAN 2010.
In addition to the band being national TV stars, their alter ego DON'T STOP BELIEVIN has been on fire! Burning up stages everywhere and wowing people with their exceptional tribute to the music of Journey. Both bands are moving to new levels in their career and are looking forward to new opportunities.
THE SINGING BEE Saturdays at 9/8c CMT brings you the karaoke-style singing competition, The Singing Bee, hosted by comedic actress Melissa Peterman. Contestants are tested on their knowledge of lyrics to well-known songs, and those who fail to accurately sing the correct lyrics are eliminated from the competition. New to CMT, The Singing Bee blends a mix of 60 percent country music with 40 percent popular favorites from other genres.

Also, we are in the midst of learning another 10 new songs and guarantee the dance floor will be rockin with these new add's. The band is better than ever and we are loving life!
Lastly, we may be canceling our Memorial Day Weekend shows at Pechanga Casino due to some majorly cool developments in the land of THE BOX. I can't tell you right now what it is but just keep an eye on the calendar so you know exactly what is going on.

The Boys Of Summer are back and better than ever. Joining the box is vocalist Juan Del Castillo. We have added over 15 new songs and are working on more new material. That's the lovely nickname for our JOURNEY tribute band which features all the members of Sandbox and the amazing Jeff Vincent on Keyboards.
